To save Proteus, Sinbad is expected to seat sail for Tartarus, Eris’ lair. Then, Sinbad and Marina nearly become snacks for a giant man-eating snowbird in a snow-bound sequence. But Marina saves the day to the ire of Sinbad who feels women don’t belong on ships. Later, the crew of The Chimera is nearly wiped out by Sirens, mythological women whose singing entrances sailors, causing them to crash their ships and drown. The monsters provide the strongest animation in “Sinbad.”Ī gigantic sea monster, similar to one in “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea,” is the first to strike Sinbad’s ship.

His cohorts include a slobbering bulldog named Spike and a loyal friend Kake (Dennis Haysbert).
